Wilde Lake JV (5-9) handed Centennial High JV (12-2) their second loss of the season. CHS jumped out to a 9-2 lead quickly in the first 4 minutes before WLHS settled down and went on a 12-0 run. Centennial closed the gap at several points during the game and came within 3 using their half court trap defense to score 6 straight points. Damari Parris led the Wildecats in scoring hitting 3 for 3 from 3-point range and going 8 for 8 from the line, followed closely by Kyle Ichrist(8), Matt Aubin(8) and Steven Jordan(6.) Centennial was lead by Tom Brown(17 pts) Connor Clemens(8), EJ Fowler(8), Kevin Wilson(6) and Minh An (4).
Atholton JV defeats Glenelg JV 48-46
In a game that was not decided until the final second ticked off the clock, Atholton held on to win by two. The score was tied 38-38 after 3 quarter and came down to the last possession. Glenelg had several good looks but couldn’t convert as time expired.
Centennial Keeps Winning. Defeats Mt Hebron.
Centennial’s JV basketball team (11-1) defeated Mt. Hebron (? record) 47-39. Connor Clemens lead the way for Centennial with 14 points. Also contributing were Tom Brown (10), Eli Geist (8), EJ Fowler (6), Kevin Wilson (4) and Michael Merkey (3). Seth Madden has the high scorer for Mt. Hebron with 10 points followed by Justin Burk (9) and Nathan Stock (5).

Centennial JV came into today’s game at 10-1 with their only loss to Oakland Mills. Avenging that loss, Centennial went on to win 51-37. Tom Brown led the Eagles in both points (15 points) and and rebounds again while Eli Geist chipped in 11 points. Five other Centennial players scored; Michael Merkey; Kevin Wilson; Connor Clemens; EJ Fowler; and Nick Benavides.
Daniel Kiely led Oakland Mills with 11 points while Keegan Moore and Tre Hopkins contributing 7 points each.
